PAP is one of the most respected and accessable Paramotor companies in the world. They are exceptionally good at producing Powered Paraglider Motors that provide superior power for pilots that compete and do aerobatic airshows regularly.

More importantly, they make reliable and comfortable machines that are well balanced for the pilot wanting to feel more of the wing through weight-shift control. A Paramotor for the pilot that loves to fly!

PAP Paramotors have evolved their Stainless Steel cage and frame to become even lighter and stronger than before, with the netting attached to the cage in a clean and simple way leaving the outer cage free from wraps. The cage allows for a reserve parachute to be attached easily behind the pilot's head.

From the PAP Website:

PAP RM 80 Light ParamotorAfter months of development the lightweight paraengine is ready, with a 1200 mm diameter frame, it will be available early 2011. We give a small introduction to the development process and its technical characteristics.

Frame:
The study of this frame has been at all times to achieve a perfect balance between lightness and robustness, but for the record, that we can never achieve the same structural strength using aluminum and titanium against stainless steel. Our goal has been to get to build a durable enoughframe while inflating using the engine at take-off and that the tips of the propeller never touch the ring and here we are happy for having achieved this. For this a 16 mm diameter tube has been used made of titanium which guarantees the rigidity of the circumference, together with a triangulation of removable rods attached to the aluminium foot of the frame where the engine is anchored. Some sections of this part are of aluminium solid tubes which coincide with the areas of maximum pressure.

Another key point in the design of the chassis was to design a system of Assembly as simple as possible for before and after the flight. As you can see in the pictures, the ring disassembles into 2 parts and stay united at the network together with the triangulation rods which joins the ring to the foot. The network is made with measures of different sizes of rhombuses that guarantee the sustainability of its tension.

For transport the paraengine comes with a semicircular cover to keep the detachable elements, it is possible to purchase a cover for the engine similar to the 1250mm paraengine.

Starter:
We have chosen to set a primer system that when pressed it displaces the exact amount of fuel to the carburetor, thus avoiding the lack or excess use and therefore to facilitate cold start. At the same time the primers positioned in the air box for easy access and too be able to easily start the engine already on the back. The position of the handle changes to be located at the top of the paraengine.

In addition the primer already used in older models favors starting during flight if the engine has cooled, understanding that a type of flight is taking place in thermal conditions for those who want to merge the free flight with the engine flight.

We continue studying and developing this aspect to develop the paraengine which merge perfectly both concepts. And though this new Member of the family PAP comes to offer a good alternative for this purpose, we must point out that this paraengine is developed for the pilot light and designed especially for the female pilots sector who have both encouraged us throughto the long years that we came to develop this lightweight paraengine them we are presenting today.

Harness:
is a Chair specially designed to optimize the maximum weight without losing the benefits of the latest improved model of the standard single-seater Chair. The fabric used to make these chairs is special as if same lighter without losing strength. To reduce weight pockets have been abolished and the table has been replaced by a carbon fiber. Pulley for throttle and installation of the parachute systems remain present.

Recommended weight of the pilot:
In terms of technical characteristics and recommended weight we must start and finish the release hinting as you know the different variables affecting both the decision of the paraengine suitable to each weight and to the type of flight in general we do. We can say according to the evidence that the maximum pilot weight is about 80 kg. And the weight recommended between 50 and 65 kg. We cannot extend over here and we invite you to consult the table to try to clarify is equating pilot weight, type of sailing, altitude on takeoff and on all usual kinds of flight we present atmospheric conditions.

Paraengine weight:
We will finally be at a weight around 20kg.in function of choosing the different elements: size of chair (M o S), double wooden propeller, carbon, triple propeller and tanks you can choose for the 9 liters. Or the 5 liters.

Propeller:
As of the dimensions of the propeller they have been reduced to 108cm.the double of Wood to 110 cm. the triple and carbon fiber. These 3 alternatives will be optional.

Resuming we are satisfied with this new product and especially satisfied trying to contribute and encourage the females who have been flying for a while to do this wonderful sport.

Thank you all for your attention
