This frame achieves two goals;

  1. Fold the motor down onto the buggy, either with or without the cage, then stand it on end for storage.
  2. Dismount the motor quickly and easily for use as foot launch.

Fold-and Go!
Sometimes, leaving the TrikeBuggy completely set up and ready to go works fine, especially if you have a trailer, truck or toy hauler. But some folks need to fold their unit down to fit in their van, truck or other SUV.

The EZ-OnOff folds the motor right down onto the buggy for a much smaller package and you can stand the folded unit on the motor frame for even better space saving storage! The cage can be dismounted also to further reduce the overall size.

Even if you put your TrikeBuggy in the back of your pickup truck or on an open trailer, folding it down out of the wind will reduce the occurance of bug splot that blemishes the beauty of our paramotor cage. It's also easy to cover the entire package with a good paraglider stuff sack or motorcycle cover.

Seat to Feet, and Back!
Some pilots like to switch between triking and foot launching their PPG. This EZ-OnOff is just that - about 30 seconds to completely mount or dismount the motor from the buggy.

Ever been out at the flying field, and suddenly notice that there's enough wind to easily do a reverse launch? Now there may be too much of a breeze to launch the TrikeBuggy, but your motor is all fastened to the trike! Or perhaps as you set up, there was the perfect breeze, only to die completely as you lay out your wing?

Now, you can quickly mount or dismount your motor and switch to the other mode. You don't even have to lift your motor up to put it on the trike - simply lift the front of the trike once the EZ-OnOff is assembled, and hook the top bar of your motor. Push down on the front of the TrikeBuggy, and it lifts your PPG onto the frame. Simply fasten it on with the included fasteners, and you're ready to roll!

Standard Equipment?
Why didn't we make the TrikeBuggy include this great frame in the first place? We wanted to offer an innovatve, solid, comfortable microlight PPG Trike at the lowest possible price. Since many of our clients never foot launch, this feature is not necessary for all pilots.

Most of our alumni simply keep their TrikeBuggy asssembled and ready to fly, transporting it in small trailers or just rolling it out of the barn onto the flying field. They don't need to fold or dismount the motor, ever! In less than 5 minutes from arriving at the field, I can be in the air if my TrikeBuggy is already assembled, now that's quick! Pictures...
