Firebird Grid - Fun - DHV 1-2

All the experience of the firebird pilots went into the development of the new 1-2 Grid. The rounded entry openings of this glider which firebird developed from experience in competitions yield a higher internal pressure. With this technology the glider becomes more rugged, reacts faster and achieves a higher degree of security.

The Grid has 50 cells. Specially designed entry openings on the front side channel the impact pressure of the airflow into the canopy. The Grid's profile is the result of profile and diagonal bindings which connect the upside with the underside and distribute the stresses evenly to the connected lines. Pressurization apertures in the cells provide homogenous pressure distribution.

Its profile and basic shape ensure the Grid's remarkable stability even in extreme situations.
